OUR FABULOUS AND FUN BLISS FEST 2010 WAS A HUGE SUCCESS!
We owe our volunteers a huge thank you.
We so appreciate the time and expertise that you shared on Saturday -- from yoga instruction to henna tattoos, from making bliss flags with the children to live music, from freshly prepared food to organizing the tables - you all gave so much of yourselves and your time. Your contributions are what made this day a success. Thank you.
Our second elementary class started school.
We now have over 60 students.
Thanks to our generous donors we are happy to share our recent accomplishments:
- The installation of cisterns and gutters for water collection
- The construction of a dairy unit. We expect to have two cows to be producing milk for our students in June.
- Obtained solar powered flashlights for staff use at night
- Construction of water tower, which pulls some water from our well
- Installation of water drainage
Meeting operating budget is our current concern.
